I’ve taken Soma (Carisopradol) for 16 years. It truly has helped me a lot. I was in two very serious car wrecks and had broke my back and neck. This medication is wonderful for muscle spasms and back pain. It is especially a lot of help for me when I take it late in the evening, so that when I get up in the mornings I feel less pain when I first start trying to move around.

I am currently taking this medication for a backache. In addition to this, I am having trouble turning my neck and lifting my arm without pain. This medication has been ineffective for the pain. It does cause me to get a little “fuzzy” but does nothing for the pain. (Fuzzy is not good when you have toddlers running around the home). I cannot sleep well, readjust myself when lying down or anything else.

I have significantly annoying spasms in my neck and upper back from multiple car accidents, as well as spasms in my shoulder from a sports injury. This was the first medication prescribed to me and it worked from day one. Can’t say enough about it. I do recieve cortisone shots in my shoulder in conjunction with the medication.

I have had 1 botched neck fusion and then 2 fairly good surgeries to repair the damage that the first &*&%$^# did to my neck and LIFE!! This medication has been a life saver for me. I get these “headaches” in the back of my head and nothing seems to work. ( I have tried it all) Soma is the ONLY medication that always works. I can’t say enough about this med. It’s great! I do wish it it didnt’rob me of my energy, but the exchange is well worth it.

I was prescribed this medication the other day for sever back spasms. My spasms can be so severe like a burning sensation in my back and a sharp pain associated with it. I was on flexiral but that didn’t seem to work. So far I have had muscle spasms while on the medication but it hasn’t been to the point where I wouldn’t walk or lye down. I guess only time will tell if it works. I have noticed that when I take this medicine it leave a very nasty taste in my mouth that will last for at least an hour. I recommend taking it with food.

i have been diagonsed wit RLS SEVER but also had injury to my back and neck also mar 3 2007 jumped of back of boat and my knee poped really loud and my knee cap was completlt to the side and i have suffered every since somas help me but i still have a hard time sleeping maybe 3-5 hrs a night sometimes it seems my whole body aches my muscles headaches tensed knots in neck certiam meds ive tried did not like the way they made me feel sick wired some trigger RLS dont know what to now

I have Fibromyalgia (a muscle disease) and and SI joint dysfunction (Dislocated hip Bone). I have been on this medication for over 3 yrs. Some days if I didn’t have it, well….I couldn’t be a Mom. The Carisoprodol 350mg 3x a day has worked wonders for me!!!

After suffering acute back strain in the mid 1970’s I’ve had recurring back muscle spasms so painfull I couldn’t work or even sleep. Since being perscribed Carisoprodol 350 in 2001 I’ve not missed work. I’m 58.

I have a disease called Fibromyalgia. It works better than a sleeping agent, and for my muscles I am allergic to any pain meds. This has by far been the best medicine.

I have had three disc fusions on my back. This drug helps me with all of the muscle spasms. It took me 4 years and about 7 different medications to find this one, and it works well!
